Yogic Lifestyle Exercise #4 – Self-Compassion

Yogic Lifestyle Exercise #4 – Self-Compassion

How to Use Yoga to Relax. Stress Management. For the more advanced ones, Meditation.

You can use it as your daily exercise, workout and some would argue also as your “time out.” This is good for reducing anxiety and stress. As you develop your abilities, to go deeper into each asana you will increase your ability to integrate the energy. Inhaling and exhaling will help increase the energy levels. The body can be trained to go deeper into the practice. All you need is a time of the day to practice.

Practicing the pose for 20-30 minutes before or after you wake or sleep, will increase your energy levels and help you reduce your stress. A couple of times a day is good. I would suggest a minimum of 3 days a week, preferably 5.

I would suggest you develop your ability to go deeper and with time that will come. So a 3 day cycle would be 3 days of working the set, and 2 days of relaxation. I would suggest 3 months to 5 years is long enough for this to take effect.

You can try the 10 Minute Workout. That will help you develop the skill to go deeper. You could also start with the 10 Minute Workout again, and in the morning and in the evening you practice.

The idea is to reduce stress.

As you go deeper into the practice you will increase your feelings of Self-Compassion. This will help your Self-Compassion. So you can gradually reduce your self-criticism, and self-judgment, and all the other negative emotions that result in self-blame.

You will learn to love your body.

You will become more sensitive to your body’s signals. Your body’s signals will increase your energy levels and improve your mood. You will learn to appreciate your body’s healing abilities and be grateful for all the amazing things you are able to do when you are fit.

You will become more aware of the things you can do to improve your life, and this will increase your confidence. In time you will see that you cannot do everything, and you will gradually accept this. You will learn to be thankful for the things you do have and to appreciate them.
And at last you will feel at peace with your body and its amazing abilities. Your body will help you make peace with life.
